Little Nooks...

This coffee table is one of my favorites, it was a hand-me-down from my Mom, but it used to have a flat wood top and she took it off and added a picture frame that fit perfectly on top, I thought that was so creative of her! It was all wood till It came to live with me, then I painted it 2 different blues, one very light and then I highlighted a few parts of the moldings a deeper Robins egg blue, and of course distressed it to the max ;)
My reading nook, the coziest place in the Family room ;)....

Hi Cynthia,
I want to curl up there with a stack of decorating magazines and of course have my coffee with my pumpkin spice creamer.....LOL!!

Hey, I would love it if you would stop by. I was wondering what you thought of all my changes in my living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. I have definitely brought my love of color back. Let me know what you think. Be honest!!

Hi Cynthia! Hope you had a great weekend! I want to curl up in that chair right now since I just finished painting my 2 story foyer!!!except I will have to stay for a while!lol Such a cozy spot. I don't think there is anything you can do with your accessories/hutch that wouldn't look just right! New arrangement is pretty too! Like mother like daughter, that was a great idea for the coffee table but the distressing just makes if perfect! Always a joy to visit you! Have a great week - Sincerely, Jeannette

Hi LOVE your room and you did an amazing job on painting and distressing the coffee table. I simply love your style of decorating.

Would you mind sharing with me what color of paint you used on your walls? I am trying to find a good color that is warm and will go with our furnishings in our family room.

hugs,
Becky
