~ Summer Rose updates ~

Hi sweeties! Come peek inside :)

It's been a busy week at my cottage! Here are some updates to my mini home Summer Rose...along with a few new miniatures I made this week :)

I took the wall down between the DR and Kitchen, major construction work I tell ya :) How do you like it? I heart it :)!

I made a new kitchen island beginning with a mini slab of Carrara Marble, my favorite :)

I think it makes such a charming difference, it's like the frosting on a cupcake! :)

Then I brought the pantry from my Gourmet kitchen room box into this little cottage and I like it here too :) But I painted it a soft sage green and then a day or two later, changed my mind and did it in a white wash :) Girls can do that! So here's the green...

Now here's the white wash.... {ps: I still need to white wash the screening}. I think it needs one more coat of white?

The hutch came back into Summer Rose too , which is good, because then it makes me have to look for something fabulous for the gourmet kitchen now :)

I love all the little changes, they make me happy :)

I also added some of my large collection of beautifully filled jars which are abundant with fruits, veggies and wonderful sauces! Perfect for the season!

I make a lot of my own mini canned goods and jams, but I also collect them from other mini artists... my favorite is LugArt Petit ....click the name and you'll be right there :) The ones below are from them, aren't they just so perfect?!

Well that's about it for the updates to my mini cottage.... but here a few more minis I made this past week...

I tried my hand at a pie dish too.... :)

And last but not least I made a couple of glass vases filled with fruit for some flowers... :)

Now I'm looking forward to a wonderfully relaxing Memorial Day weekend! Whew! :)

Ok maybe not, maybe I'll just keep making minis in between BBQ's and company!! Yeah :)

I wish YOU a fabulous, beautiful, healthy, loving, long holiday weekend!!

Hi Cynthia! The new makeover looks wonderful! I see you've been working really hard as usual. I ordered your book on the 20th. I'm waiting for them to advise me that it's been shipped. I can't wait to get it. How long does it usually take for them to print and ship after we order?

What a great idea to have put the down wall, I like this spacious room. The kitchen island is fantastic. I prefer the pantry is white for this room although I like sage green.
