Kitchen corner...

Hi friends! I'm popping in to give you a sneak peek at my new miniature kitchen. Its a Romantic Prairie / Farmhouse style and I'm so excited about it! Most of you who've known me for years know how much I love that style and I've been blogging about it for years, so it was time to do it in miniature :). It's a long ways from finished, but a peek couldn't hurt :) And btw, Happy National Pie day!! I made some pies for a pie safe I'm making, so it's a perfect day to show some pictures of those too!

You'll have to forgive the order or layout of the pictures, I'm attempting this post from my iPad , and blogger has yet to have options that work well with that. Hint hint blogger :)!

You are absolutely magical. You took me right back to my happy childhood days in my Aunt Louise's kitchen in Kentucky. I can hear her telling me to sit myself down & have a cornbread stick w' karo syrup. Yum! By the way, where were the cornbread sticks? Lol. Seriously though, it's all just too lovely for words. Keep the pictures coming. I'm new to your blog site & I've gone through all your past blogs. My mouth is still hanging open!!

Cynthia, You never cease to amaze me with your abundance of artistic talents. This style seems like a natural for you and it is most beautiful! The pies look so real!

I want to make my mum a mini kitchen, she spends so much of her time cooking and baking that it would suit her so well. I foresee it looking a lot like this, little bit country with a hint of shabby.

It's so warm and inviting and cozy! I love everything about it but the beautiful, aged white door is the first thing that caught my eye and made me fall in love with this little scene. I can't wait to see the completed kitchen.

I love these crazy artifacts that are super useful for all of the home tasks. Last year I travelled to Argentina and got an apartments in buenos aires that came will all kinds of machines and cute objects to cook. The best thing was that you could keep them and I did. Now my kitchen is full of modern cool objects!
