Happy sweet September! And nope, the above picture from Food Babbles is not a mini of mine... YET :) I love their website and go to it often to create my miniatures, its perfect for cooking enthusiasts too! I'm all obsessed lately with mason jar cakes and sweets! They are even showing meals in mason jars too! Just pop one open and eat. Or open one, pour, and heat up on the stove. Plus they look so sweet in the fridge :) I'm getting a new refrigerator this week and a new oven, so I'm adding "organization" to the list for sure and storing food in mason jars will be just what I'm after. I won't go crazy, lol, but just a half dozen always filled with something will make me happy :) Look at all these sweet ideas below {pinterest}. Just Google "mason jar cooking" or "mason jar cakes" and you'll be off and obsessed like me :) If anyone has done this already, I'd love to hear pros and cons or just your thoughts! This is one of the things I'm all "sweet" over this September...
I'm thinking these will be adorable in Miniature too, so I'm excited to get started on one with this theme!
Here are a few little "sweets" for September that I lovingly made for my etsy shop too ...
French cherry pastry tarts...
Do you remember moon-pies? Vanilla were my favorite, over the top sweet! :)
Pink and Pound Cake....sweet
Here's a large bakery display of "sweets" ..... I named this one "Boutique Bakery" ....
My last "sweet" for this post is this Kitchen....
Be forewarned though, I *GASPED* when I saw this and almost feel over lol.....It's Kristie Alley's Kitchen from her home in Maine that's currently for sale. Here's the link: Kristie's Cottage Home.
I'm on my way , just keep the wine chilled Kristie!
Well I hope you had enough sweetness to get you through the week :) Back to my miniatures and time to clean the kitchen to get ready for the remodel, I hope she doesn't mind I'm going with more pink, butter yellow, pale blue and sage green :)
Have a wonderful week ahead everyone!
Hugs, Cynthia

Your sweets are as gorgeous as they always are...and I have seen those mason jar desserts around too. One more thing for you to try in miniature AND in real size!
I saw Kristie's house somewhere earlier~ Can you believe it? I would never have seen her in that house, would you? But it is a gorgeous place~ Very feminine and girly! xo Diana
Hi Cynthia! I just got a new fridge a couple of weeks ago. I had so much fun arranging and organizing everything. Thank you so much for showing us Kirstie's kitchen. We are buying some property up north in the mountains and I want to build a post and beam style like hers instead of a log cabin. This is such great inspiration! In fact ~ your creativity always inspires me!
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

Hi, Cynthia. I love your cupcakes and I think they are the best. You would sell your sweets and cupckes without furniture or anything more.If you did that you would make me very very happy.
xoxo
You are one incredible artist! I am amazed at what you do here! Thank you
